Say hello to new UKC Ch Qunacks Favor New Years Special – Casper – who finished his Championship in a big way this weekend at the appropriately-named NWSWS Year End Bash cluster. On New Year’s Eve he took a group 3 and a group 1, and on New Year’s Day he upped the ante and took two group 1s and then a best in show!
That was an amazing surprise and the judges had such wonderful things to say about him. He showed very well despite the handicap of having me on the other end of the leash. My only goal for the weekend was for him to beat two dogs of another breed under two judges and thus finish his UKC Championship, but as usual, puppy Casper – who has yet to turn 1 year old – surpassed my expectations.
