I was thrilled when the opportunity to use Theo came up. I had expressed interest in a puppy from his mother Kira back in 2018, but unfortunately Covid-era travel restrictions meant I could not bring a puppy home when the litter was born in 2021. Being able to breed Maaike to Theo was a fantastic silver lining to that disappointment!
Theo is a beloved, confident and active family companion, and comes from generations of careful breeding with lines not represented in the USA. He is 44cm and has tested normal eyes, patellas, is clear of vWD and ENM and is WW for polymyositis. His SKK DogData page. Puppies’ COI (coefficient of inbreeding) from his pairing with Maaike is only 1% in 6 generations and 15% in 10 generations.
