Happy to announce that we are expecting a co-bred litter between CH Carousel Everything Glitters BCAT CGC TKN “Jewel” and GCH Spunky Lala Paxton OHB OA OAJ OF ACT1 CGC TKN “Paxton“, to be born at Gretchen’s house in Tennessee, due on approximately Halloween. This litter is co-bred with Jewel’s breeder and owner Deborah Bean of Carousel Kooikerhondjes in California, and also co-bred with Bridget Bloesch.
Jewel is a beloved family dog, is a show champion and is currently the second-ranked Kooikerhondje in AKC Obedience. Her parents are Waterbound Everything Harvey vd Golden Gate (“Harvey”) and Vilges Beanas Belladonna Carousel (“Bella”).

We paired Jewel with Paxton in order to produce puppies with stable, Kooiker-typical temperaments, robust health and proper size. With both parents having excellent health testing results (both Excellent on hips, clear eyes, patellas, vWD and ENM and WW for both PM1 and PM2) we consider this an interesting pairing for injecting new blood into American lines. This is the first litter for both parents.

Breeding, show, and/or performance homes preferred but not required. There are currently more homes on the waitlist than there are puppies, but we accept additional applications with the goal of being able to match each puppy with its ideal home. Please note an application is not a reservation. Puppies can be collected from my home in east Tennessee, and will go home at the earliest the week after Christmas or nearer the first week of January.
